On a beautiful autumn day, a group of us enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Warwick Castle, a medieval fortress originally built by William the Conqueror in 1068. The charity Merlin Entertainment, which organises events at the castle, graciously offered free tickets for Ukrainian families and their hosts.
We travelled to Warwick by train and spent the day immersed in history and entertainment. Highlights of the day included live jousting in the arena and a breathtaking show featuring majestic birds of prey soaring right before our eyes. The castle grounds were filled with activities and exhibits that captivated both children and adults alike.
It was a truly magical day, filled with excitement, wonder, and a sense of community. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day so special!
