Our trip to London was so popular that we had to organise it twice! On the first occasion, we set off very early on a cold winter morning, filled with excitement for our adventure. The day began with a tour of the Houses of Parliament, followed by a visit to Westminster Abbey, where we enjoyed free entry and guided tours.
After exploring the Abbey, we walked down Whitehall, passed the Horseguards Parade, and entered Downing Street, where the Ukrainian flag was proudly flying! We were granted special access through security and had the rare opportunity to take photos outside the Prime Minister’s residence at No. 10. This is a privilege not many British people experience!
Our journey continued to Trafalgar Square, where we took a much-needed coffee break to recharge. Refreshed, we carried on down the Mall to Buckingham Palace. It was a long, exciting, and fascinating day – so much so that we repeated it with another group a couple of months later.
Both trips were memorable and thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated. Thank you to everyone who joined and made these events so special!
