English courses

We need assistance in organising English language courses and procuring materials, notebooks and books to provide high-quality education and support.

Cultural exchange

Support for cultural exchange includes educational resources, exchange programs, mentorship, community engagement, logistical support and cultural activities.

Community trips

We need financial support for group travel for cultural exchange and adaptation to our culture, fostering mutual understanding and successful integration.

Employability

Our curriculum, which includes employment programs and seminars, empower participants with the skills needed to secure employment opportunities.

Welcome Hubs

We need support to create hubs for organising English language courses and cultural events, ensuring high-quality education and support for our programme.

Wellbeing

We need funding to provide comprehensive mental health support for our community members, as many urgently require psychological assistance and care.

Olga Meglinskaya
Trustee

Olga brings over 15 years of experience in business development and project management within Higher Education. Notably, as the Otago MBA Manager in New Zealand, she led the programme to national prominence. At the UK's Open University, Olga managed diverse client portfolios, focusing on skill development. Committed to lifelong learning, she supports Solihull's Ukrainian refugee community by coordinating English language and work skills courses. Olga holds an MA in Linguistics and an MBA in International Management from Exeter.

Kathleen O'Hara
Trustee

Kathleen is a dedicated Trustee at Brama, where she excels in organizing events and overseeing activities. Her extensive experience and passion for community service ensure the success and growth of Brama's initiatives. Kathleen's commitment to the organization is evident in her meticulous planning and execution of projects, making her an invaluable asset to the team. Her efforts enhance community engagement and drive the organization's mission forward. Her strategic vision and dedication have greatly contributed to the effectiveness of Brama's programs.

Nataliya Rozhin
Trustee

Nataliya excels in promoting Ukrainian culture and organizing cultural events at Brama. Her efforts significantly enhance Brama's success and growth, fostering community engagement and cultural enrichment. Nataliya's passion, combined with her exceptional organizational skills, makes her an invaluable team asset, ensuring the smooth execution of cultural projects. Her strong community connections and commitment to cultural preservation drive Brama's mission, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment for all.

Natalia Zaitseva
Trustee

Natalia brings over a decade of expertise in digital marketing, now seamlessly blending it with her burgeoning career as a junior frontend developer. With certifications in HTML/CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript, she has successfully developed applications for her professional network. Her ultimate goal is a full transition into the IT sector, fueled by a deep passion for continuous learning in web development. Additionally, Natalia excels as a Programme Coordinator at Brama, actively contributing to impactful community initiatives.

Alevtyna Chupryna
Lead teacher

Alevtyna is an English teacher and course coordinator at Brama Trust with a background in TV journalism and IT. She has taught English for 18 years and has managed international projects, representing Ukraine in over 10 countries as a project manager, youth worker and coach. Her deep understanding of cultural diversity, human rights, anti-radicalisation and gender equality informs her work and her person-centred approach is central to her success. We are proud that she uses her extensive knowledge and experience to support newcomers in the UK.

Dmytro Kovpak
Business Consultant

Dmytro, the creator of Perf Agency, brings 15 years of digital marketing expertise. Passionate about helping companies thrive in the digital world, he has extensive experience in marketing the hotel business. Dmytro has tackled challenges like attracting loyal customers, boosting popularity and increasing booking conversions. Starting from daily property rentals, he developed strategies applicable to businesses of all sizes. Now, as a Business Consultant at Brama, Dmytro leverages his skills to drive success and growth for the organisation.

Andrii Koval
HR Consultant

Andrii is a seasoned HR expert with over a decade of experience in workforce planning, recruitment and performance management. He recently developed a comprehensive training programme for 2,500 employees at Britishvolt. Andrii holds a mini MBA from Edinburgh and a degree in International Management from Kyiv University of Economics and Law. Certified in HRD, he is renowned for his exceptional communication skills and commitment to continuous learning, making him an invaluable asset in any organisational setting.

Svetlana Kerimov
Brama Associate

Svetlana joined BRAMA in March 2024, bringing over 5 years of legal experience and 10 years in design. Her background includes handling criminal court cases in Ukraine and collaborating with various organisations. As an artist-fashion designer, she excels in understanding consumer markets, fashion trends and developing innovative product concepts. Svetlana is committed to unlocking each team member’s potential, believing that the right inspiration drives individual and collective success. Her legal knowledge and multilingual skills enhance her fashion creativity.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our teacher Alevtyna for her dedicated support during the six-month English course, including online classes. Her engaging and practical methods made learning enjoyable and the excellent textbook made it easier to understand. This course has significantly improved my English skills.
